KUMBHALGARH


Kumbhalgarh city is situated in south of Rajasthan and is at about 105 Km from Udaipur. Climate


The climate in Kumbhalgarh remains quite temperate. In summers, the temperature easily rises to 42.6 degree Celsius and in winters it touches the minimum level of about 11.6 degree Celsius. The best season to travel to Kumbhalgarh is from October to February. English, Hindi and Rajasthani are the common languages which are spoken here.

Kumbhalgarh Fort
Kumbhalgarh Fort, built by Maharana Kumbha in the 15th century, is easily ranked the second best fort in Rajasthan right after the Chittaurgarh Fort. The fort is at a distance of 6 km from the Kumbalgarh Sanctuary and carries over 300 temples. Tourists easily get a view of the city through Badal Mahal or the Cloud Palace inside the fort gives. About 36 kilometers in length, the fort prides for the longest wall in the world after the Great Wall of China.

Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary
Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary attracts tourists from all parts of the globe for its housing some of the rare species of animals. Travellers can easily enjoy the activities of the wolf in the sanctuary which is not available in any other forests.

Muchchal Mahavir Temple
The temple catches the attention of tourists for unique image of Lord Mahavira with a moustache. The temple is situated in the Kumbhalgarh Sanctuary. The elephants guarding at the gateways of the temple easily exhibits the beautification of the temple.
