Day 01 : Mumbai
On arrival at Mumbai transfer to hotel for check in.
Day 02 : Mumbai/Cochin
On arrival in the city of Cochin, transfer to the hotel for check in. Afternoon sightseeing tour including visit to commercial center, Mattancherry Palace, St. Francis Church, Wellington Island, Bolghatty Island, Chinese Fishing nets and Jewish Synagogue. Have a thrilling fun of backwater cruising while watching the wildlife.
Day 03 : Cochin/Munnar
On arrival in Munnar check in to hotel. The city of Munnar is blanketed with stunning beauty composed with peace and serenity that makes it an idyllic tourist’s destination. Explore the endless expanse of tea plantation, immaculate valleys and mountains, exotic species of fauna and flora and aromatic spicy cool air.
Day 04 : Munnar/Periyar
On arrival in the city of Periyar, transfer to hotel for check in. Periyar also called Thekkady Wildlife Sanctuary is a home of many natural and wildlife enthusiasts. Apart from that, the park also houses large number of faunas including elephants, Gaur and Sambar. The park comprises an artificial lake which serves as the waterhole for the animals that come here to drink or take a dip
Day 05 : Periyar/Kumarakom
Drive to Kumarakom via Kottayam. The city of Kottayam also known as Rome of the East is positioned between the palm-fringed backwaters on the Western Ghats to the east. On arrival in Kumarakom, transfer by boat to Coconut Lagoon. Kumarakom is a beautiful backwater village on the shores of the enchanting Vembanad Lake.
Day 06 : Kumarakom
Cruise in the canal by Bamboo Poles, sail through the lagoon with favourable wind. In the evening witness the lustre of sunset through the crevice of coconut palms. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 07 : Alleppey/Ambalapuzha/ Karumadi Kuttan
After a hearty morning breakfast, set out for cruising through Pallathuruthy Bridge River and reach Ambalapuzha temple. Visit ancient and historical temple of Lord Krishna and later visit to Karumadi Kuttan.
Day 08 : Quilon/Kanyakumari
In the morning pay a short visit to Quilon, renowned for cashew tree plantation and old wooden houses on the edge of Lake Ashtamudi. Drive to Kanyakumari. On arrival check in to hotel. In the evening watch the sun set at the confluence of Indian Ocean. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 09 : Kanyakumari/Kovalam
Kanyakumari is a must see during Chaitra Purnima (full moon day in April) when the sun and the moon are face to face at the same horizon at the confluence point of Indian Ocean, Bay of Bengal and Arabian Sea. Also see Vivekananda Memorial, built on the rock into the water giving it a sight of tiny island. On arrival at Kovalam check in at the hotel.
Day 10 : Kovalam/Trivandrum/Dep
Morning sightseeing tour of Trivandrum will include visit to Padmanabhaswamy Temple, a famous Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Visit Napier Museum built in 1880. The museum has got a good collection of ancient archaeological artefacts. Departure from the city. Proceed to airport to catch a flight to connect for onward journey.
