MANALI
Manali, located in the central parts of the northern state of Himachal Pradesh, is perched at an altitude of 2050 meters above sea level. Places of Interests in Manali
Hadimba Devi Temple
The temple of the goddess Hadimba is a wooden temple located in the dense forest about 2.5 km from the Tourist Office. Also known as the Dhungri Temple, it attracts a great number of tourists for a major festival celebrated in May of each year.
Vashisht Baths
Touring Manali and not going to Vashisht village would not complete the tour as this extremely picturesque little place is a natural charm in itself. Just about six km out of Manali, a stroll there easily delights tourists beyond their expectations. . On foot it's only about 4.5 km since you can follow paths up the hillside while cars have to wind up the road. It catches the attention for its solid architecture, thatched roofs and multi-coloured people.
Old Manali Village
The existing town of Manali has come into being on the place of the old village, a couple of km away. While going to the old Manali village, tourists will get to see a very charming bridge well before climbing up to this interesting little village.
Jagatsukh
About 12 km north of Naggar and six km south of Manali on the east bank road, Naggar catches the attention of tourists for some very old temples in the village, particularly the Shiva temple in shikhara style. There is Shooru village, located very close to Naggar, which invites tourists for its ancient and historically appealing Devi Sharvali temple.

Arjun Gufa is a popular spot with a legendary cave. Located five km from Manali, this Gufa is near the village of Prini. Nehru Kund, a cold water spring is six km from Manali on the Keylong road. In the Solang Valley, situated in north-west of Manali, you get an opportunity to see the nearest glacier to Manali at just only 13 km. Kothi, 12 km from Manali on the Keylong road, is a nice-looking little village. Trekkers heading for the Rohtang Pass reside here and enjoy the scene. Those expecting exhilarating views can come to Kothi; at this point, the Beas River flows through a very deep and narrow gorge. The Rahla Falls, 16 km away, attract tourists for being another well-liked excursion.

Air
The nearest airport is Bhuntar, 52 km south of Manali. There are flights to Delhi via Shimla. The closest narrow-gauge railhead is at Jogindernagar, 135 km away.
Rail
The closest broad-gauge railheads are Chandigarh (310 km) and Ambala (355 km).
Road
By road, the distance from Delhi via Mandi is 585 km, and from Shimla the distance is 270 km.
