Day 01 : Delhi
Take a flight to Delhi and arrive in the capital city to be transferred to the hotel.
Day 02 : Delhi
In the afternoon, take a tour of the capital city. In Delhi, you see a blend of modernity and ancient delights through Old and New Delhi. See the majestic Red Fort, the historical Chandni Chowk, Raj Ghat, Shanti Vana, the Rashtrapati Bhawan, the India Gate, the Laxminarayan Temple, Qutab Minar and the lotus-shaped Baha’i Temple.
Day 03 : Delhi/Leh
Take a flight to dust covered Leh, the capital of Ladakh. On arrival in Leh, transfer to the hotel. Roam around the local market in the evening to feel the pulse of Leh.

Day 04 : Leh
In the morning, take an excursion to Shankar Monastery, located on the foot of the city a couple of km north of the town centre. See the gigantic 9 storey Leh Palace. Visit the ruins of the Leh Gompa an old temple above the Leh Palace. Here, you would see a large golden Buddha, numerous painted scrolls, murals and old manuscripts.

Day 05-06 : Leh-Hemis-Leh
Take an excursion to Hemis Monastery (45 km) south of Leh on the west bank of the Indus River. See the Drukpa monastery which is built on a green hillside enclosed by magnificent mountains. See the multi-coloured prayer at the monastery.

Day 07 : Leh-Lamyuru-Uletokpo
Visit the Lamayuru monastery, oldest in the region. It was built in 11th century and it belongs to Tibetian Kagyupa sect. See some striking murals, Avalokiteshvara image and the decorated Dukhang (assembly Hall). You will see caves carved out of the mountain wall.
Later drive back to Uletokpo, Overnight in the camps in Uletokpo
Day 08 : Uletokpo/Leh
Drive to Leh and visit Alchi en-route. Alchi's large temple complex is simply placed among the most significant Bhuddhist centers in Ladakh. It’s also labelled as a jewel of monastic skill.
Proceed to Leh and have an overnight at the hotel in Leh
Day 09 : Leh
Take an afternoon excursion to the Phynag and Spituk monasteries. At Phyang Monastery, you get to see hundreds of statues, together with some Kashmiri bronzes, thangkas and manuscript copies of old temples. Visit the Spituk Monastery, the seat of the head Lama.

Day 10 : Leh/Sarchu
Drive to Manali by passing through many mountain passes. See striking landscape, enclosed by huge mountains. Pass by village Gya (4100m); cross the Taglang la Pass (5370m) and the Lachalung la Pass (5065m).

Day 11 : Sarchu/Keylong
Drive on to Keylong and move through breathtaking views of the nearby lying mountains

Day 12 : Keylong
Keylong is full of barley and buckwheat fields and bordered by brown hills and snowy peaks. Visit to Khardong Monastery, 3.5 km across the Chandra River.
Return to Keylong, Overnight the hotel in Keylong.
Day 13 : Keylong/Manali
Drive to Manali in early morning. See an exceptional view of the Lumphu Nala coming down from the Tempo La glacier. Enjoy splendid views of the glaciated valley of the Chandra River. See potato plantations and relish the stunning view of Himalayan-Chain with steep cliffs, deep ravines, large glaciers and moraines.

Day 14 : Manali
Either relax or take a visit to the Tibetan Monastery and a Hindu temple the Hadimba Devi Temple (1553).

Day 15 : Manali
Explore the city on your own in the morning. Go to Naggar, once the capital of Kullu valley. See Gauri Shankar Temple (11/12 century) and many other temples in Manali. Chatar Bhuj Temple, Tripura Sundri Devi Temple, Roerich Art Gallery are some of other places of interest there.

Day 16 : Manali/Shimla ( 120 Kms)
Drive to Shimla in the morning all the way through the overwhelming landscapes of the Himalayas.

Day 17 : Shimla
Shimla is a pleasant hill station and once was the summer capital of the British rulers. Besides savouring the natural charm all around the town, you get an opportunity to see the places like the Christ Church (1844) on the Jakhu Hill, the Gaiety Theatre (1887), town Hall and General Post Office.

Day 18 : Shimla/Delhi
Tourists are driven through the awe-inspiring landscapes and surroundings of the Shivalik hills from Shimla to Delhi via Chandigarh.
